Couple's cozy retreat
First night was fantastic, we had a restful sleep in a spacious room with a nice view over the church. The full English breakfast at the pub down the street was truly a treat, perfectly cooked and a great start to the day.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but worth it.

The Deluxe Twin Room was a good size and super comfy with a king-sized bed. Loved the immaculate coverings. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and there was a lovely view of the churchyard outside. Was a bit tricky to find at first, but once settled, it felt cozy. The only downside was that the staff at The Bulls Head seemed to be a bit scarce at times. it had its charm!

We truly enjoyed our stay, especially the cozy atmosphere of the small rooms and the delicious full English breakfast just a short walk away. The only downside was that there wasn’t a chef on-site for dinner, but we found the sister pub nearby to be quite satisfying nonetheless. it was a memorable experience, and I’d definitely recommend trying the breakfast! 🍳

The breakfast at the Queens Arms was a proper feast, with a Full English that hit the spot! Plus, the charming vibe of the pub adds a lovely touch to your stay. The staff were genuinely friendly, making you feel right at home.
Just a heads-up, we had to travel a bit for brekkie, which was a bit of a drag. The room could've used a tray in the shower – had nowhere to pop the shampoo!

The location is quite nice, situated in a pretty part of Glossop. We found the atmosphere enjoyable, especially after a long day out. there were several inconveniences during our stay. the walls were thin, and we could hear everything happening downstairs. the TV remote didn't work despite our attempts to get it fixed. On the last day, breakfast was not available when we arrived a bit late.
